1 tea bag MILFORD Winter Delight
150 g white chocolate
20 g apple chips (crispy dried apple rings)
½ vanilla pod
150 g soft butter
100 g brown sugar
275 g flour
2 lvl tsp baking powder
100 g cashew nuts (unsalted)
a pinch salt
Pour 50 ml boiling water over a Milford Winter Delight tea bag, set aside for 8 minutes to brew and remove the tea bag. Allow to cool, completely. Finely chop the chocolate and apple chips. Slit vanilla pod lengthwise and scrape out the sticky pulp. Mix the soft butter, sugar and vanilla with the whisk of hand mixer until fluffy. Add and stir the egg, flour, baking powder, tea, cashew nuts and salt. Stir in the chocolate and apple chips. Form small heaps with a teaspoon and place slightly apart on two baking trays lined with baking paper.
Bake in a pre-heated oven at 175°C (150°C convection heat) for around 12 minutes or until golden-brown. Remove from the oven and allow to cool.
