Our Quality

As a natural product, tea undergoes very little change throughout the technical processes necessary for tea packaging. Nevertheless, the safety of the product from the raw material, to packaging, through to the end product is very important at MILFORD Tee Austria.

Quality and safety are firmly anchored in the corporate philosophy.
Through the careful selection of raw tea ingredients from around the world, specific management regulations in controlled integrated cultivation (KIA) of the most important herb cultures as well as an uninterrupted supply chain, tea tasters together with quality assurance, assure the typical and consistently high quality of every MILFORD tea recipe.

MILFORD tea complies with the strictest criteria (higher level) of the IFS (International Food Standard), a quality assurance in itself as well as to all consumers.

All processes comply with the requirements of the Food Hygiene Regulations and are established in a HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points) concept. In 1993, the first tea business was officially certified with ISO 9001. Asides from any official certificates, however, the highest standards at MILFORD are its customers‘ enjoyment and health.
